DAILY WORD....12/21/07

The days of thy mourning shall be ended. In the world ye shall have tribulation. The whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. We that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb, Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters; and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.Isa. 60:20. John 16:33. Rom. 8:22,23. 2 Cor. 5:4. Rev. 7:14-17

Passage Revelation 7:14-17: AMP

14I replied, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they who have come out of the great tribulation (persecution), and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.(A)
15For this reason they are [now] before the [very] throne of God and serve Him day and night in His sanctuary (temple); and He Who is sitting upon the throne will protect and spread His tabernacle over and shelter them with His presence.
16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun smite them, nor any [a]scorching heat.(B)
17For the Lamb Who is in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to the springs of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.(C)

When you and I stop and think of where we were when the Father found us, when we consider the means that He used to draw us to Himself, when we think about what life would have been like without Him, we can’t help but be moved to gratitude. And when we think about what is in store for everyone who believes, when we think about the glory of standing in the crowd in Heaven to praise our gracious Lord, when we think about that day when we will no longer hunger or thirst, when all dangers will be abolished, where the living water is our refreshment and all our tears dried, when we think about that day when the Shepherd will lead us, we too will find ourselves lifting the Palm Branches to sing Hosanna. And periodically we will find ourselves swept up in the wonder of anticipation and we too will say, "Father, we just want to thank you for tomorrow. To God be the Glory!! ----Marcel
