It has been an awesome time with GOD these past few weeks with everyone, and the W.O.W. (Walking On Water) Gospel Group is GROWING! As well as our newest addition which is the Power of Praise(P.O.P.) Ministry. After careful consideration to find an official date to celebrate we came up with September 14, 2007 as our official launch of the group. As the previous article to this one we had shared that Minister Bernard Cheeks will be down the weekend of December 14, 2007!

Get Ready Get Ready Get Ready! We want to take this time to celebrate my brother Minister Bernard Cheeks and his new ministry! The Power of Praise (P.O.P.) Ministry is going to be the fastest growing ministry on the Jersey Shore and the East Coast! We are so blessed to have Minister Bernard to join the team of saints of the W.O.W. Gospel Group, as well as his wife First Lady Jewel. This powerful couple of GOD are going to tell the devil to "Move Get Out The WAY!"
Minister Benard Cheeks is the associate minister of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Cape May Court House, New Jersey. Minister Bernard and his wife Jewel have truly been a blessing to my wife and I, personally over the years! It 's amazing that at this time in our lives that we are both serving GOD at the same time! We want to thank you Minister Bernard for all your love and we look forward to your visit on the weekend of December 15th 2007! It will be a GRAND time in the LORD as we all will finally meet and fellowship together! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
MINISTER BERNARD CHEEKS BIO
William Bernard Cheeks, Born October 28, 1960 in Salem, NJ. A 1979 graduate of Penns Grove High School, a 1983 graduate of Catawba College, Salisbury, NC with dual B.A.'s in Business Administration & Communications. A 1989 graduate of Temple University, Philadelphia, PA with a Masters Degree in Marketing & Advertising. Was Baptized December 3rd, 1973 at the Hopewell Baptist Church of Penns Grove, NJ by the late Reverend Sidney J. Mills. Brother Cheeks joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church in March of 2000 under the Pastorship of Reverend William L. McClurkin. He is a member of the Male Chorus and the Chancel Choir and has worked faithfully with Pastor McClurkin. He received the call to the Gospel Ministry in June 2005 and was licensed to preach the Gospel on March 29, 2007. He is married to Jewel Cheeks and has a Son Kristian, Daughters Diaundra, Brenna, Maya, Laura and two grandchildren Seth Miqual & Juliana Elizabeth. Minister Cheeks is the Owner & CEO of KRISTIAMAYA ENTERTAINMENT & WJSR-FM 96.3

18 But they all alike began to make excuses and to beg off. The first said to him, I have bought a piece of land, and I have to go out and see it; I beg you, have me excused.
19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to examine and [a]put my approval on them; I beg you, have me excused.
20 And another said, I have married a wife, and because of this I am unable to come.(A)
21 So the servant came and reported these [answers] to his master. Then the master of the house said in wrath to his servant, Go quickly into the [b]great streets and the small streets of the city and bring in here the poor and the disabled and the blind and the lame.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER
Passage 1 John 3:11-24 AMP
11 For this is the message (the announcement) which you have heard from the first, that we should love one another,
12 [And] not be like Cain who [took his nature and got his motivation] from the evil one and slew his brother. And why did he slay him? Because his deeds (activities, works) were wicked and malicious and his brother's were righteous (virtuous).
13 Do not be surprised and wonder, brethren, that the world detests and pursues you with hatred.
14 We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is [a]held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death.
15 Anyone who hates (abominates, detests) his brother [in Christ] is [at heart] a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding ([b]persevering) within him.
16 By this we come to know (progressively to recognize, to perceive, to understand) the [essential] love: that He laid down His [own] life for us; and we ought to lay [our] lives down for [those who are our] brothers [[c]in Him].
17 But if anyone has this world's goods (resources for sustaining life) and sees his brother and [d]fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him?
18 Little children, let us not love [merely] in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth (in practice and in sincerity).
19 By this we shall come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we are of the Truth, and can reassure (quiet, conciliate, and pacify) our hearts in His presence,
20 Whenever our hearts in [[e]tormenting] self-accusation make us feel guilty and condemn us. [For [f]we are in God's hands.] For He is above and greater than our consciences (our hearts), and He knows (perceives and understands) everything [nothing is hidden from Him].
21 And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God,
22 And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [[g]watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [[h]habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.
23 And this is His order (His command, His injunction): that we should believe in (put our faith and trust in and adhere to and rely on) the name of His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and that we should love one another, just as He has commanded us.
24 All who keep His commandments [who obey His orders and follow His plan, live and continue to live, to stay and] abide in Him, and He in them. [[i]They let Christ be a home to them and they are the home of Christ.] And by this we know and understand and have the proof that He [really] lives and makes His home in us: by the [Holy] Spirit Whom He has given us.

37 Whoever in My name and for My sake accepts and receives and welcomes one such child also accepts and receives and welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me receives not only Me but Him Who sent Me.
38 John said to Him, Teacher, we saw a man who does not follow along with us driving out demons in Your name, and we forbade him to do it, because he [a]is not one of our band [of Your disciples].
39 But Jesus said, Do not restrain or hinder or forbid him; for no one who does a mighty work in My name will soon afterward be able to speak evil of Me.
40 For he who is not against us is for us.(A)
41 For I tell you truly, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to and bear the name of Christ will by no means fail to get his reward.

WOW..... IS ALL WE CAN SAY!
The W.O.W. Prayer Group has been a blessing to my wife Kimberly and I over the pass 90 days; we have seen GOD move in such a short period of time and in soooo many people’s lives. Marriages that were broken are being bonded together, as well as families being pulled together. We are seeing people who were homeless finding homes and children who are fatherless receiving a father figure.We have seen GOD heal and even delivering those who have been struggli
ng with their own personal walk with Christ! We know that prayer is what makes all this possible.This call allows us to put on the FULL ARMOR OF GOD (Ephesians 6:10-20)
When you are on this call this group of saints will offer wisdom and knowledge as well as understanding on how to apply the scriptures to your life! We discuss how FEAR is nothing but False Evidence Appearing Real. We also promote JOY (Jesus First Others Second You Last.) As well as teaching and training on your place in the kingdom of GOD!
We want you to know what your 3 P’s are by having a PLAN, a PURPOSE and a PROCEDURE to put your life back on track with GOD!We also touch and agree that knowing the word is important, but not as important as living the word in your life everyday!
